Consent to Electronic Records and Signatures

We are required by law to give you certain information "in writing" - which means you are entitled to receive it on paper. However, with your consent we can provide you this information electronically, instead, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You may also give us your general consent to use electronic records and signatures in transactions. In order for you to, electronically, open accounts, receive terms and conditions, obtain new products or enroll in services offered by Citi Private Bank and also provide us with instructions related to your Citi Private Bank accounts, products and services electronically, you must agree to the use of electronic signatures and records with us. You must have the ability to receive and retain electronic communications. These terms and conditions affect your rights and you should read them carefully.
In this consent, the words "we," "us," and "our" means Citi Private Bank, the Citi legal vehicles through which it does business, and its affiliates, subsidiaries and service providers. The words "you" and "your" means the person giving consent. "Transaction" means, electronically, opening accounts, receiving terms and conditions, obtaining new products, enrolling in services or maintaining any existing account, product or service. "Communications" means each disclosure, notice, agreement, undertaking, fee schedule, periodic statement, record, document or other information we provide to you, or that you sign or submit or agree to at our request, in connection with a Transaction. "Service" means the Citi Private Bank website, mobile application or other approved third-party website or mobile application used to complete a Transaction.
Your Consent
You consent to electronic delivery of all Communications. We may also use electronic signatures and obtain them from you on any Communication. Your consent applies to any Transaction that you complete with us. This consent applies to each account with us that you own or on which you are an authorized signatory.
Providing Electronic Communications.
Electronic Communications may be delivered to you by making them available via the Service, or by sending you an external email at the email address you have provided to us. Such notice may also be sent to you by facsimile or to a postal address based on your contact information in our files.
All such electronic Communications will be effective when a notification is made available to you via the Service, sent to you via the secure way of communication (e.g., secure email) within the Service, sent to you by sending you an external email at the email address you have provided to us, or sent to a postal address based on your contact information in our files, and you hereby waive all claims resulting from failure to receive communications because of your failure to access the Service or changes in your email or postal address. If any electronic Communication to you is returned to us undelivered, we will attempt redelivery, at our option, either electronically to the same or a different email address, by facsimile or to a postal address based on your contact information in our files. In addition, we may attempt to contact you to correct any errors in your email address. Redelivered notices shall be effective when sent, upon delivery or when delivery is refused if sent by registered mail to a postal address or upon receipt of confirmation of delivery by facsimile. If electronic communications to you continue to be returned to us undelivered, you may be unable to proceed with a Transaction.
We may always, in our sole discretion, provide you with any Communications on paper, even if you have authorized electronic delivery. Sometimes the law, or our agreement with you, requires you to give us a written notice. You must still provide these notices to us on paper, unless we tell you how to deliver the notice to us electronically.
Your Contact Information
It is your responsibility to provide us with an accurate and complete e-mail address and other contact information, and to maintain and update promptly any changes in this information. You must notify us of any changes in your information during a Transaction by logging into the Service and correcting the appropriate fields in your profile or by contacting your Citi Private Bank representative for assistance.
Requesting Paper Copies
You may request a paper copy of any Communication delivered to you electronically at any time by contacting your Citi Private Bank representative until such time as the copy is no longer required to be maintained as permitted by applicable law, rule or regulation. A fee may apply for any additional paper copies.
Retaining Copies
We encourage you to print or download for your records a copy of all electronic Communications, as well as this consent and disclosure and any other document that is important to you.
Withdrawing Consent
You may also withdraw your consent to electronic delivery of such notices, disclosures and other information at any time before completing a Transaction by closing your browser window or exiting the mobile application. If you withdraw your consent to receive notices and information electronically before a Transaction is complete you will be unable to proceed electronically. You may be required to restart a Transaction via paper, or you may be unable to complete a Transaction at all.
Your withdrawal of consent with respect to a specific Transaction does not affect any other consent you have given to us at any other time to use electronic records and signatures.
Required hardware and software
In order to complete a Transaction and in order to receive, view, access, retain and print notices, disclosures and other information delivered to you electronically you must have available Internet access and a device equipped with the minimum requirements detailed below. These minimum requirements are subject to change. Pre-release (e.g. beta) versions of operating systems and browsers are not supported.
If our hardware or software requirements change, and that change would create a material risk that you would not be able to access or retain electronic Communications, we will notify you of such changes, whereupon you may be asked to demonstrate that you can access the information in the changed form in which it will be sent. You may be asked to demonstrate that you can access the disclosures and regulatory materials by clicking on an "I agree", "I consent" or other similarly worded button or entry field. If you do not so demonstrate your ability to access the disclosures and regulatory materials, you may be unable to proceed with a Transaction. Continuing to use this service after receiving notice of the change is reaffirmation of your consent.
Termination, Changes, Effect on Other Agreements
This consent to the use of electronic records and signatures is in addition to all other agreements you may have with us. Your consent to the use of electronic records and signatures includes your consent under any and all laws, rules, regulations and official issuances applicable to the completion of a Transaction electronically now existing or which may hereinafter be enacted, issued or enforced under any jurisdiction. The terms and conditions by which we provide you with electronic Communications may be terminated, modified, or amended by us at any time. We will provide you with notice of any such termination or change as required by law. Your continued completion of a Transaction after such notification of change shall be understood as your agreement to be bound by all such changes.
By clicking "Agree" below, you, as the account owner and / or authorized user to which the Service applies, consent to the use of electronic records and signatures in connection with a Transaction. You also confirm that you have the hardware and software described above, that you are able to receive and review electronic records, and that you have an active email account and the ability to access and view PDF files.You are also confirming that you are authorized to, and do, consent on behalf of all of your co-applicants and owners and co-owners of any account, product or service we provide to you as part of a Transaction
